Aesthetic Magazine The Masthead is written in black bold Georgia font style which is simplistic and clean. The aesthetic magazine uses the same font style on their Masthead for each magazine. This allows it to be globally and easily recognisable for the audience. The Main image of a women takes up most of the space of the front cover magazine. The text to image ratio is very small, this shows that the producer wants his audience to focus more on the picture than the text. The producer has used a medium shot, this makes the women's shoulder and chest more visible to the audience. The producer may have intended to do this to create a male gaze to attract more audience. The camera angle focuses more on the women's gestures and her body which results in her being sexualised. The Dazed FRONT COVER and DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD MAGAZINE On the right-hand side of this double-page spread, there is the main image with little writing. The image is a woman captured in a medium-long shot. Based on how she is being presented with her posture and body language, the audience is assuming the woman is a model.  The black dress codes are very visible to the audience which allows them to easily look at the choice of costume portrayed in the main image. The use of dress codes, the furry jacket, and the make - up connote a sense of wealth and style. KERRANG! - Front cover and Double Page

Context Kerrang is a type of magazine, It is a British weekly magazine devoted to rock and metal music which is currently published by Wasted Talent. Kerrang magazine was first published on 6th June 1981 as a one-off supplement in the Sound newspaper. Kerrang was initially devoted to British heavy metal and the rise of hard rock acts. Because British heavy metal and the rise of hard rock acts was a new wave at the time, in the early 2000s it became the best selling weekly British music magazine. Kerrang magazine analysis The text edit producer of Kerrang magazine used the rule of thirds to divide the magazine cover. The masthead 'KERRANG!' is situated at the top, the main image of the two characters and their band name is in the middle and the major story of other related music genre is at the bottom.  The producer did this style of layout for the readers to easily breakdown the parts of the magazine giving them a clear understanding of the cover.  Twenty-One Pil
