Target Audience Research What type of music genre do you like From the results I have gathered I learnt that most people in my survey like listening to R&B (Rhythm and Blues) music and Pop music. I also leant that the age is  roughly at the maturity of  20s to late 20s. So knowing that R&B and Pop is the leading and most popular music genre I thought I might use it in my music video research of genre. I also learnt that the majority love to listen to music and use the app Spotify to listen to their music.  This helped me a lot because it enabled me to see and know what my audiences like to listen to. Their like and dislikes. This will allow me to have abetter insight on what to include in my MV.

Aesthetic Magazine The Masthead is written in black bold Georgia font style which is simplistic and clean. The aesthetic magazine uses the same font style on their Masthead for each magazine. This allows it to be globally and easily recognisable for the audience. The Main image of a women takes up most of the space of the front cover magazine. The text to image ratio is very small, this shows that the producer wants his audience to focus more on the picture than the text. The producer has used a medium shot, this makes the women's shoulder and chest more visible to the audience. The producer may have intended to do this to create a male gaze to attract more audience. The camera angle focuses more on the women's gestures and her body which results in her being sexualised. The use of the iconography, the big earrings, pearl necklace and her hair held back connotes the old fashion portrayal of women. The use of the make-up, red lipsticks and long eyelashes sexualis

The Dazed FRONT COVER and DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD MAGAZINE On the right-hand side of this double-page spread, there is the main image with little writing. The image is a woman captured in a medium-long shot. Based on how she is being presented with her posture and body language, the audience is assuming the woman is a model.  The black dress codes are very visible to the audience which allows them to easily look at the choice of costume portrayed in the main image. The use of dress codes, the furry jacket, and the make - up connote a sense of wealth and style. This represents and reiterates the idea that she is a model.  The indirect use of address connotes a sense of seriousness like she's looking at a different camera  The use of the white background in the main image is effective and attractive, it targets the audience by its clean and simplistic effect.
